Philip Lexow

Phil was saved at the age of 11 when a friend invited him to AWANA at their church. After attending for several weeks he decided to start reading his bible and became convicted of his sinfulness. It was then that one of the verses he had memorized suddenly came to rescue him from his despair. The verse was Romans 5:1 "Therefore we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ". It was then that he received the faith to believe and fully realized that Christ's death on the cross was to atone for his sin! For the first time he understood unconditional love and true forgiveness which brought peace, freedom and purpose to his life. His desire is to live for Christ and to bring the same message of reconciliation to the rest of the world. He strives to follow Christ's model of servant leadership and helps to shepherd the flock at Grace Fellowship.

He is happily married to his wife of 25 years, Linda who home schools their 7 children: Benjamin, Joseph, Rebeka, Daniel, Joshua, Elizabeth and Samuel. Phil enjoys wandering about in the high sierras when he has the opportunity.
