Samuel Hughes

Samuel Hughes is a grateful member of Grace Fellowship, where he humbly serves in music, teaching, and pastoral discipling. Samuel, originally from San Diego, cherishes life with his wife, Jessica, and their two precious daughters. His faith journey began at the tender age of 5, leading him to a heartfelt commitment to contribute selflessly within the church.

Since the age of 8, Samuel has been actively involved in the church, offering his talents on the worship team, supporting in the sound booth, and participating in various evangelism events. His faith has deepened through service in Aim San Diego and Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, and he has been a member of Grace Fellowship since 2006. Beyond his roles at the church, Samuel serves as the Executive Director of Aim San Diego, embracing the opportunity to extend kindness and ministry leadership to the wider community.

Samuel holds an associate’s degree in classical guitar from Mesa College and a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from San Diego Christian College. Currently pursuing a Master of Divinity from Southern California Seminary, he values both musical and theological education. Samuel’s heart is evident in his passion for helping others grow in Christ, fostering thriving ministries in whatever form they may take, believing that “You can’t make a difference until you are different.” Reach out to Samuel at samuelandjessicahughes@gmail.com for conversations about faith, discipleship, and ministry involvement.
