James Fazio

At the age of 16 James dedicated his life to Christ. In 2002 he earned a bachelors in Biblical studies, and then continued on to seminary where he earned several graduate degrees, including an MA in Biblical studies, Master of Divinity (2005). After 10 years of teaching in the public sector he began a career in private Christian education. He then went on to get a Master of Theology (2013), and Doctor of Ministry in Christian Education (2017), and finally a PhD in history at Queens University Belfast. James has served at Grace Fellowship since 2002 but it wasn’t until 2022 that he was appointed as a teaching-elder.

James serves as academic dean and professor of biblical studies at his alma mater, Southern California Seminary. For the past 15 years he has been committed to training up ministry leaders through theological education in Uganda. He presently serves on the board of White Fields, a national church planting organization that supports national pastors worldwide. Since 1996 he has been happily wedded to his high-school sweetheart, Amy, with whom he shares four kids.
