Charleton was born in Texas, lived in Southern California, Missouri, Indiana, and Kansas before moving back to Southern California to serve in the ministry. His testimony is one of gradual change and has been a lifelong journey of discovering Christ, culminating in his separation from a heretical church in order to pursue the God of the Bible.

He has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications with a Minor in Electronic Media Production from College of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, MO. He is currently pursuing a Master of Theology degree from Southern California Seminary.
