Music Ministry

At Grace Fellowship, our worship through music is more than a time of singing. It is an expression of our shared love for God and our unity as His people. Worship is deeply personal, yet it’s also something we do together as the body of Christ. When we lift our voices in song, we testify to the gospel, encourage one another, and prepare our hearts to receive God’s Word.

We sing together because:

  • We love God and desire to honor Him with our voices and hearts (Psalm 18:1–3; 95:1–2).
  • Scripture commands it. Worship is an active, shared experience—not a performance to observe (Psalm 34:3; Colossians 3:16).
  • He is worthy of all praise. Our songs lift high the name of Jesus for all to see (Psalm 100:3–4; Revelation 4:1).
  • We are united in faith and truth. Singing together strengthens our fellowship and shared confession (Ephesians 4:4–6).
  • We testify of the gospel. Music proclaims the good news to believers and nonbelievers alike (Romans 12:1–2).
  • We prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God. Song softens the soil of our hearts so truth can take root (John 4:24).

How We Worship

Our services are planned with intentionality and reverence. Every song, prayer, and moment is designed to edify the church and exalt Christ.

  • We use instruments such as piano, guitar, bass, and percussion to support congregational singing and encourage joyful praise.
  • We welcome biblical expressions of worship, such as clapping, lifting hands, or kneeling, when done in a spirit of humility and unity.
  • We aim for orderly, gospel-centered worship, where all focus remains on God, not the musicians.
  • Our Worship Coordinator oversees all aspects of the ministry under the guidance of the elders, while the Tech Team Lead supports the ministry through sound and media.

Joining the Worship Team

Those who serve in the music ministry have the privilege and responsibility of leading the congregation in worship. Team members are expected to walk closely with the Lord, model humility and service, and prepare diligently for each Sunday. If you are gifted in music or tech and desire to use your talents for God’s glory, we invite you to connect with our Music Director or Tech Team Lead to learn more about serving.
